McCollister’s Transportation Warehouse Opportunities

Warehouseman’s Job Responsibilities

The Warehouseman’s role is to properly handle product entrusted to McCollister’s.

  • Load, unload, store and distribute freight to meet customer and internal requirements
  • Report structure includes a Dock Supervisor and a Warehouse Manager
  • Handle freight properly to avoid claims, to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations                           
  • Operate and utilize tools include forklifts, pallet jacks, roll-a-lifts, J-bars, dock plates while loading and unloading shipments
  • Learn and apply use of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Complete paperwork associated with freight handling

As part of the warehouse team each member is anticipated to assist with maintaining the warehouse floor to preset standards.

Warehouseman’s Job Requirements

  • One-year experience in warehousing and distribution
  • Ability to lift 75lbs
  • Forklift certification
