This was our first move, and we only had reference stories from other friends, some that had good experiences, but many that had awful ones. It became clear quite quickly that we got a great crew to handle our move. The entire team was friendly and light-hearted (which really helped manage our stress levels during the move process), and simultaneously very professional, courteous, skilled and careful. Most notably, neither my wife nor I have ever seen a team of people work so hard and so well together on such an arduous task. Their rapid and efficient pace was truly amazing to observe.
We still get surprised responses from friends of ours when we tell them that the settlement was harder than the move itself. It seems that our experience was unique when it comes to moving house.
